Clearwater, Florida (Agencies) July 24, 2025 — Professional wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, born Terry Gene Bollea, passed away peacefully at the age of 71. His death marks the end of an era for millions of fans who grew up under the roar of Hulkamania.

Hogan burst onto the global stage in the 1980s, revolutionizing sports entertainment as the face of the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), now known as WWE. Known for his towering presence, trademark handlebar mustache, and booming catchphrases, he became a cultural phenomenon whose influence reached far beyond the ring.

He famously headlined WrestleMania III against André the Giant, and held the WWF Championship five times, including a historic 1,474-day reign. In the mid-90s, Hogan reinvented himself in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) as “Hollywood” Hulk Hogan, founding the infamous New World Order (nWo) faction that shaped a generation of wrestling storytelling.

Outside the ring, Hogan starred in hit movies like Rocky III and Suburban Commando, and captured family life in the reality TV series Hogan Knows Best. His legacy was cemented with two inductions into the WWE Hall of Fame, including one as part of the nWo.

He is survived by his wife Sky Daily, and children Brooke and Nick, with tributes pouring in from across the entertainment and sports worlds. Hogan’s impact will remain etched in wrestling history as a symbol of charisma, resilience, and an unmatched bond with fans worldwide.
