Dhaka, August 3, 2025 (Agencies) — The United States and Bangladesh have successfully concluded the 41st iteration of Tiger Shark, a bilateral military exercise aimed at enhancing defense ties and operational coordination under the Indo-Pacific strategic framework.

Jointly conducted by the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command and the Bangladesh Armed Forces, the exercise featured integrated training modules including medical response, joint patrolling, marksmanship, swimming and diving, and close-quarters combat. Tactical simulations, joint planning sessions, and subject matter expert exchanges were also held to improve interoperability and readiness for regional contingencies.

“This joint military exercise reaffirms our commitment to a safer, stronger, and more prosperous Indo-Pacific,” said U.S. Chargé d’Affaires Ambassador Tracey Jacobson.

The exercise concluded on Saturday, August 2, 2025, and reflects both nations’ enduring commitment to peace, stability, and a rules-based order in the Indo-Pacific region. Defense officials emphasized that such engagements build mutual trust and contribute to a more secure maritime and regional environment.
