Rawalpindi (Khyber Mail) July 11, 2025 — In a significant leadership reshuffle, the Pakistan Army Promotion Board, chaired by Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Asim Munir, has approved the elevation of more than two dozen brigadiers to the rank of Major General, reinforcing strategic command across key operational and administrative sectors.
The promotion board convened at General Headquarters (GHQ) and finalized the list of officers from diverse corps including Air Defence, Engineering, Intelligence, Infantry, Aviation, and Medical Services. The newly promoted officers are expected to assume critical roles in both domestic and international postings.
