Islamabad, March 20, 2026 (Khyber Mail) – A retired Pakistan Army officer, identified as Imran Akram, was found dead in an apartment located in the F-11 Markaz area of the federal capital, police said.
According to initial reports, the deceased, a retired Lieutenant Colonel, was discovered in Flat No. L-06 in the basement of Abu Dhabi Tower. Authorities said the officer had been residing at the location since February 22, 2026, and his stay was reportedly registered through a hotel management application linked to Shalimar Police Station.
Senior police officials, including SP Saddar Zone Kazim Naqvi and SHO Shalimar Shafaqat Faiz, along with a forensic team, reached the scene to collect evidence and initiate legal proceedings.
Police sources confirmed that samples were collected from the site, and an investigation is underway to determine the cause of death. No official statement has yet been issued regarding foul play.
