London, December 28, 2025 (Agencies) – Activists have plastered “Wanted” posters of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu across London’s buses, streets and major landmarks in a high-profile protest highlighting allegations of war crimes and genocide linked to Israel’s military campaign in Gaza, Anadolu Agency reported.
The campaign, carried out by pro-Palestine activists, features images of Netanyahu accompanied by text referencing an International Criminal Court arrest warrant issued in November 2024. The warrant accuses the Israeli prime minister of war crimes and crimes against humanity allegedly committed during Israel’s military operations in Gaza since October 2023.
Posters were seen in busy public areas, including transport hubs and central streets, drawing attention from commuters and passersby. Activists said the action was aimed at raising public awareness in the UK about accountability for alleged violations of international law.
According to reports cited by campaigners, more than 71,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children, have been killed in Gaza over a two-year period. Although a ceasefire formally came into effect on October 10, Israeli military operations have continued, with residents reporting ongoing strikes and insecurity.
Humanitarian conditions in Gaza remain dire, with limited improvement since the ceasefire. Aid agencies say agreed quantities of food, medical supplies, humanitarian assistance and mobile housing have not been fully allowed into the enclave, leaving much of the population facing acute shortages.
The protest comes amid continued global demonstrations calling for accountability over the Gaza conflict and increased pressure on Western governments to address alleged violations of international humanitarian law.
