RABAT, MOROCCO (Khyber Mail) July 31, 2025 – His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, has issued directives for the immediate dispatch of emergency humanitarian and medical aid to the Palestinian people, with a focus on the affected populations of the Gaza Strip. The announcement was made Wednesday by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates.

The relief shipment includes approximately 180 tons of critical supplies, ranging from food items, milk, and children’s products to essential medicines and surgical tools intended for vulnerable civilians. Blankets, tents, and logistical equipment are also part of the aid package, which will be delivered through a dedicated route designed to ensure rapid and direct access to Palestinian beneficiaries.
This initiative follows a landmark operation in March 2024, when Morocco became the first country to successfully deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza by land via Israel. That mission involved approximately 40 tons of aid flown to Tel Aviv and then transported by truck to Gaza, marking a historic breakthrough in regional humanitarian logistics.
Wednesday’s dispatch reinforces Morocco’s enduring commitment to the Palestinian cause and highlights His Majesty’s leadership in championing the rights and welfare of Palestinian civilians. The Kingdom’s actions remain rooted in tangible solidarity, combining diplomatic resolve with direct humanitarian support.
