BEIJING, October 10, 2025 (Agencies): China and North Korea have officially resumed their cross-border land postal route between the cities of Dandong and Sinuiju, China’s State Post Bureau announced on Friday.

The route reopened on September 25 following coordination between the relevant government departments of both countries. According to the bureau, the resumption of postal services will provide greater convenience for mail exchanges between the peoples of China and North Korea, strengthening communication and cooperation.

The Dandong–Sinuiju route is a key postal and trade corridor linking northeastern China with North Korea. Its reopening marks another step toward normalizing bilateral exchanges after years of pandemic-related border restrictions.
