The recent BISEP results for HSSC-I have sparked widespread disappointment among students, parents, and institutions. A significant decline in passing and promoted candidates has raised questions about the accuracy of the results. Upon closer examination, the data reveals miscalculations and inconsistencies in the result book that demand immediate attention.

The revised table shows an overall passing percentage of 44.2%, with only 46% of students being promoted. These figures are a far cry from expectations, and the situation is further complicated by the fact that many students had attended academies and coaching classes in addition to their regular college classes. The claimed 91% pass rate is patently incorrect, misleading, wrongly calculated and the actual passing percentage is a stark contrast as can be seen in the BISEP and the corrected table.

Revised Table

The results also show a significant disparity in performance between regular college students and private candidates. Regular female students have a pass percentage of 68.0%, while regular male students have a pass percentage of 31.8%. Private candidates, on the other hand, have outperformed regular college students, with a pass percentage of 71.4% for female candidates. This raises serious questions about the authenticity of the results and the wasting of money in institutions for regular education, that indeed must be wrong and requires corrections of results.

The implications of these results are far-reaching and have significant consequences for students, parents, and institutions. The authorities must take immediate action to investigate and correct the miscalculations in the BISEP results. Transparency and accountability are essential to restore trust and credibility in the examination system with extreme care.

The investigation should focus on identifying the root causes of these errors and taking concrete steps to correct these immediately and to prevent such mistakes in the future. The academic community deserves accuracy and fairness in the examination system. By ensuring the accuracy and credibility of the examination system, we can build a strong and vibrant academic community that produces talented and capable individuals but this result has waisted all efforts as how to keep balance with the previous higher grades and the current miscalculated results.

The BISEP results may have been a wake-up call, but it’s essential that we learn from this experience and work towards creating a more robust and reliable examination system. We hope that the authorities will take the necessary steps to restore trust and credibility in the system.

In conclusion, the BISEP results have raised serious concerns about the accuracy and authenticity of the examination system that is evident from the misleading incorrect table generated by their computerised system. We urge the authorities to take immediate action to investigate and correct the miscalculations that must be present in the whole results. By doing so, we can ensure that our students receive the education they deserve and that our historic outstanding institutions maintain their reputation for excellence.
