PESHAWAR 6 November 2026 (Staff Report): Residents of Muhallah Ghufran-e-Habib, located outside Kohati Gate, have been facing a severe shortage of Sui gas for the past one month. According to local residents, gas supply to the area has remained unavailable, causing serious difficulties in their daily household activities.
The residents expressed concern over the prolonged suspension of gas supply and stated that they are facing immense hardships in preparing meals and carrying out routine domestic chores. The situation has particularly affected women, children, and elderly residents.
The residents have appealed to the relevant authorities of Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) to take immediate notice of the issue and restore the gas supply without further delay. They also urged the concerned officials to investigate the cause of the disruption and provide permanent relief to the affected community.
