RABAT, October 14, 2026 (Agencies) – Morocco’s King Mohammed VI received Fatima Ezzahra El Mansouri, the head of government tasked with forming a new government, at the Royal Palace in Rabat on Wednesday.
During the audience, El Mansouri briefed the monarch on progress made so far in the government formation process.
King Mohammed VI wished her success in fulfilling her mission, stressing that the next phase required comprehensive engagement and serious, responsible government action in view of the scale of the country’s challenges, priorities and public expectations.
The royal audience was held within the framework of the King’s constitutional powers and his commitment to ensuring the proper functioning of the country’s constitutional institutions.
